Romualdas Inčirauskas – is one of the most famous metal artists in Lithuania.

Born 1950 in Anykščiai (Lithuania).

Education: Higher School of

Applied Art in Telšiai,

Tallinn’s Art Academy (metal), Estonia

Member of Lithuanian Artist’s Association (LAA).

Member of International Medallist’s Federation (FIDEM).

Professor Vilnius Art Academy, Telšiai Faculty.

Creative fields - sculpture, medals, painting.


The artist also creates monumental metal realiefs and sculptures for architecture and interior accents. Most of these can be seen in the Old Town of Telšiai. Central one being the Door of the Cathedral of St. Antanas Paduvietis. Sculptural realiefs in the Great Samogitian Wall, signs-sculptures for the memory of Jewish community, sculptural (20 sculptures) project TELZ (property of Vilnius Gaon Jewish Museum).

The artist has chosen a bird for his painting subject the Bird that always changes combinations of forms and color, tries to fill all the space of a canvas and transforms into a symbol. Harmony of color, details with shining gold creates grandeur, spreads harmony and comfort.

His works have been acquired by Lithuanian and foreign museums. The most famous of these are the British Museum in London, the Lithuanian National Museum and etc.

Works are in private collections in Lithuania, Russia, Germany,

Austria, Sweden, Finland, Japan, Israel, USA and others.
